Using Solaris' Linux emulation layer and DTrace to do performance analysis on Linux applications.
I still don't see what all the DTrace hype is about -- it's clear that Sun want people to think that it's something new and cool, but I don't see anything here that couldn't be done with slight modifications to a userspace debugger, rather than needing a big messy kernel hack.
In particular, the "root cause" thing at the end would be far easier to do with something like gdb...
