azz:
An interesting take on the fretboard -- have frets that rotate with one flat side, so you can switch between fretted and fretless playing on the same instrument.
I suspect getting one of these fixed in ten years' time is going to be an interesting exercise in frustration ("my guitar rattles!" "sorry, it's your fret rotation mechanism"), but it's a neat idea.

"Former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein walked out of court amid uproar within minutes of the resumption of his murder trial under a new presiding judge."
"Walked out of court"? Sorry, is this actually a trial, or what?
azz: A live looping sampler -- aimed at the same target audience as Ableton Live for Windows, I guess.
This is an unusually fun bit of software to play with, once you've watched the videos to figure out how to drive it. (Hint: if you've got my sense of rhythm, then don't bother tapping a beat; just record a loop then hit F1.)
