azz:
"Few of the millions who bought it back then knew that the album took just six days to record, nor what the origin of its bizarre title was, let alone could make sense of the surreal lyrics."
... and neither would anybody who watched this programme. I was sort of hoping they might explain some of that...
But, hey, it's still Classic Albums; it's still worth watching, if not quite as entertaining as the Motorhead episode last week.
(Also, really irritating thing for web pages to do of the day: radiotimes.com has an animated favicon!)
(Also also, what's with the odd titles, RT? It ought to be "Classic Albums" with "Cream - Disraeli Gears" as the episode title -- I had to set up a wildcard recording in MythTV to catch it...)
(And while I'm moaning about TV, curse you, BBC schedulers! Why do you have to put Life on Mars, Balderdash and Piffle and Three's Outtakes all on at the same time, and not repeat any of them later in the week?)
azz: Novell demonstrate their OpenGL-based X server.
Remind me how ripping off a load of tacky graphical effects from Apple and making the GUI entirely dependent on non-free software and closed hardware specifications is a step forward, again?
