Newtek have released the source code for the seminal Video Toaster software.
For those of you who weren't Amiga fans in the early 90s, this was the video effects system; it's where Lightwave 3D originated.
It was popular enough that PAL studios bought it -- despite, since Newtek only produced NTSC hardware, needing to do two lots of standards conversion to make it usable on PAL video...
And popular enough that the first company to produce clone Amiga hardware was doing it to run the Video Toaster software more quickly.
