Interesting -- the BBC are experimenting with DRM (the good kind -- Digital Radio Mondiale, not Digital Rights Management) using one of their local radio transmitters.
Since it looks like DRM's a significantly more competent standard than DAB -- better audio quality, and deals better with poor reception -- it'd be nice to eventually see a national longwave DRM service from the BBC.
Perhaps the French station FIP could do the same, to restore service to its Brighton-based listeners...
