The BBC using "hacker" in the non-pejorative sense?
(That is, I'm not particularly surprised that it's the BBC doing this; I'm surprised that any mainstream news venue is.)

Unsurprisingly, I'm currently taking part in Hack Day
It would have been better save for a couple of minor issues
Firs [3~t the building was struck by lightning, causing the roof to open and the systems to close it again to burn out.
Rain + Laptops = Badness
Secondly, the WiFi (provided by a British company in the Telecoms business who I shall protect by using only their initials (BT) didn't work for most of the afternoon.
BIt has been pretty good since those problems were resolved though
And I've managed to get my new homepage building script out the door
