ats:
Having inhaled the entire series (in translation) over the last week or so, I thought I'd have a look to see whether the next volume's out in Japan yet.
It turns out that reading the Amazon reviews through Google Translate is nearly as entertaining as reading the books...
"Playing house and playing along with us Yotsuba-chan also has been working to prepare the new powder and spit several times to make it sink if you can not successfully burn pancakes."
"After reading, you feel healed unbearable."
"Also, Volume 10, from cover to cover back, everything was wonderful. Can not find a non-wonderful adjectives."
"And Dad said I Dearitai. The meaning of rice next time."
"Gag cartoons depicting the daily life of Yotsuba unfussy 5 year old girl." (Actually, that one's quite accurate.)
"Yotsuba is a girl I have grown into a well."
And best of all:
"If your sister is stuffed in a previous wound, and saw the most growth of Yotsuba, make the pancakes"
I couldn't have put it better myself.
(Anyway, it's very good. Please ignore Yen Press's cringeworthy back-of-book blurbs; their translation is actually quite decent.)
