Now take C14 which advises that such documents should have processing instructions if they use style sheets
And 5.1 which only allows for documents which follow the guidelines set forth in section C to be served as text/html
and the result is ... you can't use stylesheets in an XHTML document served as text/html. What fun!

So I guess I'll be sticking to using actual HTML, then, just as before.
(After all, it's not like it's hard to transform XHTML to HTML on output, if you want to work with XHTML!)
