David: Oh my ... this thing is HUGE
ats:
It's not that big, as heatsinks go.
The Zalman Flower coolers that were popular a few years back were quite a bit bigger, as is pretty much anything designed for passive or low-noise cooling.
David: Still more than twice the size of the unit I've got fitted at present
ats: It doesn't appear to ship with a "do NOT move your computer with this fitted" warning, like the current Zalman stuff does.
David: I'm now scared of Zalman ... very very scared.

"The ability to see the Martian rover from orbit has recently been demonstrated by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO)."
Damn, that's cool.
I'm not entirely sure why it's so cool, but, well, that thing's tiny! And they can get a decent picture of it from orbit!
Now I'm just waiting for a picture of the MRO from Opportunity.
It'd also be nice to have a top-down view of where the rover's been.

(Spamhaus's sbl-xbl blacklist is one of the two that pils checks incoming mail against, incidentally; we don't dump incoming mail on the SBL but we do tag it, and it's a fast way of discarding the vast majority of the spam I receive.)
