"However, the pattern of a red arrow pointing towards the corner of a Union Flag is similar to one used for the television show's Space Rocket Group, which featured in a Christmas special three years ago."
I'd just like to point out that we recommended this course of action here on Us-Log last year.
Nice to see somebody's paying attention.
(Although clearly nobody remembers Quatermass...)
ats: Best rail accident report ever.
Signalling fault causes a Northern Line train to be routed (safely) to the wrong branch at Camden Town.
Inventive signaller at Camden Town realises that he can just misroute the next train as well, then get the drivers and passengers to swap trains.
This works fine, with the drivers exchanging greetings in the walkway as they go past...
... except that one of the drivers gets in the wrong end of the new train, and drives off in the wrong direction.
I suspect this is one of those "oh, we didn't think of that" problems.
(This one, on the other hand, wins today's award for Underground incident most likely to be turned into a sitcom episode.)
